This page connects published facility locations to flood assumptions, utility-wide renewal and seismic metrics, and current official drought and river information. Facility water use and water sources are often undisclosed, so distinct evidence is kept separate and missing values are not estimated.

Facility disclosures

Cooling method, water source, withdrawals, and reclaimed-water use belong here only when a cited source discloses them. Otherwise the field stays empty.

Local water utility

Water Utility Cards report seismic rates for intake, treatment, reservoirs, and pipes, plus pipe aging and renewal. Values apply to the utility as a whole and do not prove a facility supply contract.

Current drought and source conditions

Official drought, river-level, rainfall, and reservoir-storage pages provide time-sensitive conditions. They are separate from static hazard assumptions.

Flood, inland-water, and storm-surge assumptions

Government hazard tiles show modeled zones under defined assumptions. Coverage varies, and the layers do not establish actual site damage or safety outside a zone.

This directory includes only locations where the published facility location can be matched clearly to a utility in the Water Utility Cards. It does not infer a facility's supplier or actual water source.

Utility figures come from MLIT's Water Utility Cards (as of March 31, 2024) source workbook. The reference date is 2024-03-31, published 2026-07. This site does not convert the figures into facility ratings or utility rankings.

National Land Numerical Information for water-supply areas reflects 2010 conditions. It is too old for automatic identification of current service areas and is not used for the utility match on this map. Inland-water and storm-surge coverage is incomplete. A blank layer must not be interpreted as evidence of no risk.

This page is not a substitute for site investigation, utility confirmation, or a site-specific flood and continuity assessment. Planning and safety decisions should use the latest municipal hazard maps and utility information.
